A few days ago, the Arab United Nations Steamship Company (UASC) has ordered the ordering of 2,000 new energy-saving reefer containers to expand the company's reefer container transportation business.
The company said that the new reefer containers use Daikin's latest energy-saving solution, which will save 50% of power consumption compared to the company's cold box container launched in 2001.
According to Gareth Madsen, head of the Arab ship reefer container operation, the 2,000 new reefer containers will enable the company to achieve optimal levels of transport quality and efficiency in transporting frozen and refrigerated cargo. In addition, this year, Arab ships will also order more reefer containers.
It is understood that after the new refrigerated container is customized, the average age of reefer containers under the Arabian ship is 3 years. In addition, the company's reefer container fleet is the youngest in the industry. The company will continue to invest in the reefer container business to increase trade in the South American market.
