After the project is put into use, it can save 8 to 10 tons of low pressure steam per hour. Pan oil, which is the middle section of the ethylene unit gasoline dephlegmator, contains diesel oil as its main component. Yangzi Petrochemical's olefin plant through the transformation, the 170 °C high-temperature disc oil lead out, after three heat exchanger two-stage heat exchange, so that full recovery of heat back to the gasoline fractionation tower. The heat of the pan oil successfully replaced the low-pressure steam heat source of the original heat exchanger, saving 8 to 10 tons of low-pressure steam per hour, and the economic benefit was considerable. At the same time, after the system was put into use, the preheating effect of the process water was much greater than that of the original heat exchanger. Enhancements have increased the ability to generate diluted steam from ethylene plants, reducing the recharge of medium-pressure steam, and achieving significant energy savings.
