Recently, the Shanxi Provincial Laboratory Accreditation Accreditation Group passed an on-site assessment of the Shanxi Province Textile Machinery Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of Jinzhong City, and determined that the center has possessed 42 items of parameter inspection and testing capabilities for the three kinds of textile products applied for. This marks another step forward for Jinzhong City to apply for the establishment of a state-level textile machinery product quality supervision and inspection center.

At present, there are more than 200 textile machinery enterprises in the city, nearly 20 enterprises with output value of over 10 million yuan, and 2 enterprises with output value exceeding 100 million yuan. There is a large pillar industry with many employees, mature technology, high equipment level, obvious outward-looking economic pull effect, and promising industrial outlook. In July 2008, Jinzhong City was awarded the honorary title of “China Textile Machinery City” by the China Textile Machinery Industry Association.
