Housing and Construction Commission promotes large-scale community garage replacement LED lighting

Recently, the Housing and Construction Commission and the Beijing Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Center jointly studied the use of contracted energy management methods to promote LED lighting devices in large public buildings and large-scale residential communities.

Contract Energy Management is an energy management company that signs energy service contracts with customers to provide customers with a complete set of energy audits, project design, project financing, equipment procurement, construction, equipment installation and commissioning, personnel training, energy saving confirmation and assurance. Energy-saving services, and a type of business operation that recovers investment and profit from the energy-saving benefits that customers receive after energy-saving. Customers served by energy conservation management companies do not need to bear the funds, technologies and risks of energy conservation implementation, and can reduce energy costs more quickly, gain the benefits of implementing energy conservation, and obtain equipment provided by energy management companies.

At present, two property companies, Sino-Ocean Foundation and Shun Tiantong Property, have been selected as pilot sites, which may open the way to replacing large-scale underground garage lighting with LED lights.
