In the month of April, the output of tires made from rubber tires across the country reached 74,247,400, a slight increase of 1.11% year-on-year, and the growth rate was down 0.73% year-on-year. Among them, the output of radial tire tires was 3,676,400, an increase of 9.78% over the previous year, and the growth rate was up 9.16% year-on-year.
From January to April 2011, the top five provinces in terms of rubber tire production in China were:
Shandong Province - In this period, the output of tire casings accounted for 38.52% of the country's total. The output of tires for tires and radial tires was 10,022,200 and 39,349,800 respectively.
Jiangsu Province - In this period, the output of tire casings accounted for 13.5% of the country's total. The output of tires and radial tires were 35,136,700 pieces and 21,688,800 pieces respectively.
Zhejiang Province - In this period, the output of tire casings accounted for 12.16% of the country's total. The output of tires and radial tires were 31,629,500 and 197,900 pieces respectively.
Guangdong Province - In this period, the output of tire casings accounted for 6.87% of the country's total. The output of rubber tires ranked fourth in the country, being 17.781 million. However, the production of tire tires for radial tires was 4.423 million, ranking eighth in the country;
In Tianjin City, the tire casing production in the current period accounted for 4.71% of the country's total. The output of tires and radial tires were 12,26,200 and 6,591,200 respectively.
Sheet Metal fabrication is the creation of useful metallic parts and structures by the application of multiple fabrication processes. Sheet metal fabrication is basically a broad term that involves various complex processes like cutting, forming, bending, welding, machining, and assembling. The instructions include below: materials, processes, and tools required for sheet metal fabrication.
Types of Sheet Metal Fabrication Materials
The choice of metal depends on the final use of the fabricated parts.
Common fabrication processes:
• Carbon Steel
• Stainless Steel
• Aluminum
• Bronze
• Copper
• Brass
• Aluminized steel
Bending: Sheet metal bending is one of the most popular deformation processes. A machine known as a Press brake is used to bend sheet metals into V, U, or other complex shapes. With an increase in gauge thicknesses of sheet metals the force required to bend increases.
Stamping: In the stamping process, a hydraulic or mechanical stamping press equipped with a tool and die is used to perform specific tasks like curling, drawing, embossing, flanging, etc
Hemming: Hemming is a process by which the edges of sheet metal are folded over itself or another piece of sheet metal to create a rounded edge. In the sheet metal fabrication process, two types of hemming processes are widely involved. They are roll hemming and conventional die hemming. Conventional hemming is used for mass production. A hemming roller is used for roll hemming.
Spinning: Spinning is a metal fabrication process where a lathe machine is used to rotate the sheet metal against a tool to produce conical or cylindrical shapes.
As sheet metal fabrication covers a wide area of techniques and methods, the advantages and limitations will vary depending on the process used during fabrication.
Benefits:
i. Sheet metal fabrication is fast and can produce high-quality components.
i. A large number of processes are available with wide range of materials
ii. High strength to weight ratio for sheet metal fabricated parts.
Disadvantage:
i. Each fabrication process has their own limitations.
ii. High initial cost for set up of equipment and tools.
iii. Requirement of skilled labors for each process.
From January to April 2012, the output of rubber tire tires nationwide reached 26,019,770, an increase of 3.85% over the same period of last year, and the growth rate decreased by 3.22 percentage points year-on-year. Among them, the output of radial tyre tires was 1303.7797 million, an increase of 6.8% from the same period of last year, and a decrease of 1.98 percentage points from the growth rate of the same period of last year.
