While a pot is not actually a shape per se, the Hope Pot Magnet category includes block and disc magnet shapes as well as magnets that contain Ceramic, Neodymium and Alnico magnetic materials. Pot magnets combine these shapes and materials with a steel casing that covers the exterior of the magnet to form an assembly with more magnetic strength and far more durability than standard magnets. The metal casing protects the brittle magnet from damage and simultaneously increases magnetic field strength by deflecting most of the field downwards to the uncovered base. The result is a magnetic holding tool that is versatile, highly effective and in many applications is far more practical than fasteners or glues.
